AV-8B Harrier II [American] / [British]
The AV-8B was an advanced version of the British Harrier, built by British Aerospace. Thanks to the bungling of the British beauracracy in 1975, the British became only a 40% partner in the joint venture with the United States of America, in an aircraft of which they were the creators. The new aircraft boasts of an improved turbofan powerplant, greater payload and range, and very advanced avionics, apart from the air-frame being built of carbon-fibre.
